Rant of the day…
My roommates decided to go to the beach today. Not a big deal except that we had been planning for the past week to go to Hampton this weekend, when we could all go without interfering with finals or work or my internship interview.
My internship interview is for Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. If I bomb this interview and don’t get the internship, I can’t get certified to work in a hospital setting, which is what my major is centered around. I can’t fuck up this interview. No pressure right?!
So its sprung on me today that its beach day. I’m invited of course and I love the beach so I’d normally say yes, except one thing: I can’t get burnt, and I’m REALLY white. In all my experiences going to the beach, no matter how much sun screen I put on, I get burnt, everytime. So I had to turn down the beach.
Now my roommates are back and its a completely different atmosphere in the room. They won’t talk to me and are mad that I didn’t go with them. I’m pretty sure my excuse for not going was a good one. And now here they are reminiscing about their beach trip, of course I’m not going to be included in this conversation. Love it!
Finals…
If there’s one thing finals are guaranteed to do, its cause stress and trust me I’m stressed to the max right now.
I’m just staring at review sheets and study guides that I’ve made and my mind is going blank, I don’t remember anything.
So instead, I took a nap and here I am on Tumblr.
Gosh, if this is how the next 10 days are going to be I’m fucked.
